LEAF’s Elevate Small Business team is thrilled to announce the award of a FY2020 grant for technical assistance from Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation.
The award of $61,000 will allow Amine Benali and Chris Hunter to serve Greater Boston’s minority, women, and immigrant-owned small businesses as they start, stabilize, or grow!
Over the past year, the Elevate team has served over 35 entrepreneurs in every industry from foodservice to biodiesel. Some of the year’s largest projects include CERO Cooperative, 50Kitchen, and Olio Cooperative.
As part of their technical assistance services, Amine and Chris have been successful in attracting over $2.3 million in capital to businesses served by the Elevate program this year. This capital advisory service has become an increasingly important tool leveraged by businesses looking to take their concept to the next level, or to embark on an ambitious start-up journey.
