The New Deal Cafe is Greenbelt's living room, serves 3 meals a day every day. It opened in 1995 named in honor of Works Project Administration, a part of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Depression-era New Deal, which built the city of Greenbelt. They have live music most nights of the week and feature monthly exhibits by local artists.
